The finishing touch · 3 minute readThree simple ways to change the shape of your favourite layer.
A belt changes the line of an open layer. A wide wrap, a narrow leather tie and a satin sash each bring a different finish.
01Keep it relaxed with a narrow tie
Try the Knot or Tether belt over a kimono and tie it without pulling the fabric tight. Let the sides fall naturally, then adjust the amount of fabric at the front.
02Add definition with a wider shape
The Embrace belt creates a broader line at the waist. Check both the belt measurements and the amount of fabric you want to wear underneath before choosing it.
03Use a sash as a colour accent
The Obi sash can pick up a colour in your print or introduce a contrast. Start with a simple knot; try a bow if you want the sash to become a more visible part of the outfit.
