A closer look · 3 minute readHow to make a reversible kimono part of your everyday wardrobe.
A reversible piece gives you another way to wear the same silhouette. Think of the two sides as different starting points for an outfit.
01Get to know both sides
Start with the print that drew you in, then turn the garment over and look at the reverse on its own. Frost pairs silver-toned florals with black; Gardenia pairs botanical greens with navy.
02Change the base, too
Wear a printed side over a simple base. For a quieter reverse, try a textured knit or a contrasting trouser. You can keep the outfit familiar while changing where the attention goes.
03Give it a place in your plans
For a trip, try both sides with the outfits you already plan to pack. Check the care label before folding, steaming or ironing: reversible construction does not tell you what the fabric can tolerate.
